Methi na Dhebra

- 1 ½ cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
- 3 cup bajra (black millet) flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain
- ¼ cup fresh curd (dahi)
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 3-4 -green chili ( fine chopped / crushed with ginger )
- 1 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste / ¼ cup green garlic ( crushed ) + 1 tsp garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt to taste ( 2 tsp )
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp fresh cream
- ½ to ¾ cup butter milk to need a dough
- Oil for cooking
- Whole wheat flour rolling
- Combine all the ingredients along with 1 tbsp oil in a deep bowl to make a soft dough, using enough butter milk.
- Divide the dough into 16-18 equal portions.
- Roll out each portion of the dough. ( 6-8 cm ) diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each dhebra, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides.
- Serve hot with curds and pickle of your choice.
