It is a perfect Eggless Chocolate Cookie recipe that can help you to make Chocolate cookies crispy and crunchy in texture, not chewy nor gooey, and it melts in the mouth as soon as you take a bite.

Serves: 12- 15 cookies
  • All-Purpose Flour / Maida - ½ cup, leveled
  • Baking powder - ¼ tsp
  • Cocoa powder - 1-2 tbsp, as per taste
  • Salted Butter - ¼ cup / Half stick
  • Powdered sugar - ¼ cup, leveled
  • Chocolate chips - ¼ cup or more
  • Milk - 2 tsp or as per need
Instructions ( 1 cup = 250 ml, 1 tbsp = 15 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml)
  1. Measure all the ingredients for the chocolate cookies recipe and keep it aside.
  2. Mix and sift dry ingredients - flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Keep it aside.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat your oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 10 min.
  4. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until you get a nice creamy texture.
  5. Add 1 tsp of milk and gently mix. You can add vanilla essence at this stage.
  6. Add flour and cocoa powder mixture.
  7. Gently mix and make a pliable cookie dough. Add more milk one - half tsp at a time if required.
  8. Add half of the chocolate chips and gently mix.
  9. Do not over mix.
  10. Roll out the dough in a 4-5 mm thick circle. Sprinkle some chocolate chips, press them using a rolling pin.
  11. Cut the cookies into the desired shape.
  12. Arrange the cookies in a baking tray, an inch apart from each other.
  13. Bake them in a preheated oven for 12-15 min or until the bottom starts to turn brown.
  14. Each oven takes a different time, so keep an eye after 10-12 min. Do not overbake them.
  15. Cool them on a wire rack.
  16. Store cookies in an airtight container and enjoy them.
