This Raw Mango Chutney required minimal ingredients -must be available in every kitchen. Traditionally, mangoes were hand-pounded in a mortar-pestle with salt, chili powder, coriander powder, and jeera powder. Add jaggery according to the taste to balance the sourness of raw mangoes. This Mango is simple, easy to cook, and seasonal rice preparation. This raw mango rice recipe has different regional names like – Kairi Bhat, Mamidikaya Pulihora, Mangai Sadam, etc. This tangy flavored rice recipe is almost similar to tempered rice, lemon rice, and coconut rice, and is a healthy meal option.
