Step by Step Eggless Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe :

Baking temperature : Oven – Microwave Convection : 180 – 200 degree Celsius

Baking time : 20 – 25 min

Step 1 : Measure all ingredients and keep aside.

Step 2 : Soften the butter and sugar for topping. Grease the round cake tin and its sides.

Step 3 : Arrange the pineapple rings and cherries in center of rings. Keep is aside.

Step 4 : Coat the chopped pineapple and cherries with flour. Remove access flour. Keep it aside.

Step 5 : In a bowl mix maida, milk powder, cooking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Sieve properly and keep aside.

Step 6 : Now you can preheat oven on mentioned temperature for 10 minutes.

Step 7 : Combine butter, sugar and vanilla essence.

Step 8 : Beat them till get white in color and fluffy.

Step 9 : Add maida mixture step by step. Beat on slow speed. In between gradually add milk.

Step 11 : Add flour coated pineapple and cherries.

Step 12 : Pour the prepared batter of pineapple upside – down cake on the top of pineapple rings. Tap well to remove air bubbles.

Step 13 : Transfer the cake tin into preheated oven.

Step 14 : Bake eggless pineapple upside down cake on above mentioned temperature for 20 – 25 min or till cake get baked evenly and completely.

For The Toppings :
  • 5 whole tinned pineapple rings
  • 5 whole tinned or glazed cherries
  • 30 gm butter
  • 30 gm powder sugar
For the Cake :
  • 150 gm all purpose flour ( maida )
  • 100 gm butter / amul butter
  • 100 gm milk powder
  • 150 gm powder sugar
  • 170 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp pineapple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cooking soda
  • 2 tbsp chopped cherries
  • ½ cup fine chopped tinned pineapple
  • 1 tbsp maida for coating
Instructions ( 1 cup = 250 ml, 1 tbsp = 15 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml)
